Shital Parvadiya, PT

Shital is a Physiotherapist out of Ellerslie physiotherapy and wellness center. I graduated in 2011 from VNSGU, Gujarat, India in 2011 with a bachelor's degree in physiotherapy. This is where her fascination for Humanbody, passion for exercises and love for working with people to help achieve their goals and find success really flourished. She has dedicated her whole career working with sports, musculoskeletal and neurological Injuries.

She has built her skills as a manual therapist with myofascial release, Level 1 orthopedic division and Mobilization. She has received further training in functional and biomedical dry needling and concussion management.

When She in not Clinic you can find her running after her son and teaching group fitness classes. She also lived for meditation, yoga and getting outside for some fresh air in the form of walking or running. She says that life is precious,and hopes to be able to get you back enjoying your life and your activities as quickly as possible.

Ila Katariya, PT

Ila is a registered Physiotherapist who graduated from South Gujarat University in India with a Bachelor of Physical Therapy degree in 2013. She has worked in private clinics and various hospital settings and accumulated over a decade of experience in the Physio field. She has an enormous amount of experience in treating different age groups with various conditions, including Motor vehicle accidents, Acute and chronic neck and back pain, and neuromuscular and post-surgical conditions.

Ila keeps herself updated with continuous education to enhance her knowledge and professional skills. Ila achieved Functional Dry Needling Certification from KinetaCore, USA. Additionally, She is certified to provide acupuncture treatment through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada. She strives to provide high-quality patient care and designs customized treatment plans, including specific exercises, manual therapy, stretching, education and dry needling/acupuncture.

Ila believes that pain and injury can disrupt all aspects of life; therefore, the primary goal of treatment is to return the patient to their activities as quickly and effectively as possible. Her primary focus is providing quality hands-on manual therapy in conjunction with an individualized exercise program and functional movement to help her clients return to the lives they want to lead. Due to the nature of her work, she is also known as “CareTherapist.”

Outside of professional work, Ila loves spending time with her two daughters, Tiana and Sia and family. Ila likes to cook, read spiritual books and do yoga. She speaks English, Hindi and Gujarati.

Urvish Patel, PT, Dry needling

Urvish is a dedicated and compassionate physiotherapist, who graduated in 2011. Having special interest in musculoskeletal and sports injuries, Urvish takes holistic approach and patient centred approach to patient’s care, integrating evidence based practice with personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual’s needs and goals.

Urvish holds certification of IMS and continuously seeks to expand his knowledge through ongoing professional development and training. He strives to make a positive impact on individuals’ lives by empowering them through education and hands-on therapy; and helping them regain function, and mobility.

When not in clinic, he enjoys cooking (experimenting new recipes) and spending time with friends and friends.
